No, not chocolate.
Nope, not oysters.
No, not even a slap-up meal of prime steak.
None of those.
Give up?
OK, then - it was...
... crabs.
Heh.
NO! Not those crabs. (How could you even begin to think that?)
These...
Sadly, I can't claim to have prepared the crabs myself, but I did at least put them on the plate and make the parsley and lemon dressing to go with them.
And yes, they were very much appreciated. ;)

Haha! That is naughty. I wasn't thinking it till you brought it up!
Frankly, I'd rather have crabs than steak any day.. :)
LOL :) They look delicious and I'm sure they were very much appreciated!
Seafood would be the ultimate on Valentine's Day. I'm sure that they were appreciated :D

You definitively know the way to a Valentine's heart - lovely pictures too. My first visit and I will be back soon.
Wow - they look delicious! And I love the photography on your blog.
How beautiful are these? Besides, I think shellfish counts as an aphrodesiac!
omg the photos look absolutely delicious..i love crabs but in france its kinda hard to find really fresh than what i grew up with..most of the time they are frozen and im not really satisfied with the smell and taste..but your photos really gave me so much envy to eat some today :-)
btw, i tagged you on sharing about 5 random facts on yourself, thanks
Even if you didn't dress the crab yourself, you definitely presented them beautifully! Hope you had a good Valentine's!
I love that presentation! Crab shells are so pretty, I think.

Very artistically presented!
We ended up having the pancakes we didn't get round to on Shrove Tuesday
